Hydrosurgery offers better outcomes than traditional surgery for axillary osmidrosis. After 6 months, hydrosurgery patients had significantly lower scar scores (0.5 vs. 1.5), smaller incisions (1.2 cm vs. 2.5 cm), and fewer complications (26.5% vs. 51.3%). There were no significant differences in effectiveness scores or surgical duration. This minimally invasive technique shows promise as a safer, more aesthetic treatment for axillary osmidrosis.
