A retrospective cohort study in Bangkok (2008–2022) found that psoriasis patients with diabetes or prediabetes face higher flare risks when HbA1c is ≥7% (OR: 1.905) or consume alcohol (OR: 3.328). While no associations were found in mild psoriasis, these findings emphasize the need for strict glycemic control in severe cases. Managing diabetes may help reduce psoriasis exacerbations.
