A validated quality measure was employed to identify eligible patients. Data from over 59,000 examination visits were analyzed, revealing a significant increase in sealant placement post-CDSS implementation, from 27% to 60%. Integrating the CDSS into Electronic Health Records effectively improved sealant delivery for at-risk children aged 5-15, meeting Healthy People 2030 objectives.

An experimental triple antibiotic paste containing nitrofurantoin, ciprofloxacin, and metronidazole showed better cytocompatibility than conventional Hoshino antibiotic pastes and calcium hydroxide in human dental pulp stem cells. The paste maintained about 75% metabolic activity and better preserved cell viability, supporting further investigation as a medicament for regenerative endodontic procedures.

As a single-arm study, the findings are descriptive and require controlled confirmation.

The findings support phenotype-informed risk assessment and personalized prevention and treatment.
