Results revealed that 8% of recipients received CIEDs, primarily for sinus node dysfunction or heart block, with a rare occurrence of early implantation. The risk of pacemaker implantation increased progressively during follow-up, and recipients with CIEDs exhibited longer post-transplant survival.
