Integrated Biomarkers for Indeterminate Pulmonary Nodules: Is 2-Year Imaging Follow-Up Enough for Suspected Benign Lesions?

The study revealed that the novel CBM could act as a noninvasive and more accurate method for diagnosing IPNs than the current clinical assessment tool. The most recommended strategy for SSNs is close follow-up until increased nodule size or new solid components appear. To improve the credibility of this integrated biomarker, investigating the diagnostic performance of the CBM in different nodule types is also essential before using it in clinical practice.
