The meta-analysis explored the association between iron supplementation during pregnancy and the risk of childhood leukemia. Analyzing data from 9 studies with 4281 participants, the findings showed no significant relationship between iron supplementation and overall childhood leukemia risk, including subtypes like AML and ALL. The results suggest that iron supplementation during pregnancy does not influence leukemia risk, though further research on genetic and environmental factors is needed.
