A study examined lactate clearance's (LC) impact on outcomes in 1227 out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients treated with extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR). Patients were divided into four groups based on LC quartiles. Findings revealed that higher 6-hour LC correlated with improved 30-day survival rates and favourable neurologic outcomes. Specifically, patients with higher LC had better survival and neurological recovery chances. These results underscore LC as a potential indicator for guiding the continuation of ECPR in OHCA patients.

The paste maintained about 75% metabolic activity and better preserved cell viability, supporting further investigation as a medicament for regenerative endodontic procedures.

As a single-arm study, the findings are descriptive and require controlled confirmation.
