
The study assessed procedural learning in radiofrequency ablation (RFA) using a validated TRAPS simulation model. Among 12 novices performing 767 procedures, technical competency was achieved after an average of 29 procedures, improving success rates from 88.2% to 96.7%. Needle insertion time plateaued at 27.5s, with 90% proficiency reached after 21 procedures. Simulation training proved effective for building skills in minimally invasive fetal therapy.
