In a single-centre prospective clinical study, 72 pace-dependent patients with various atrioventricular blocks were randomly assigned to receive either traditional right ventricular outflow tract septal pacing (RVOP) or left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) procedures. Over a 6-month follow-up period, left atrial outcomes were compared using an echocardiogram, speckle-tracking echocardiography, brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), and 6-min walking distance. Results revealed that LBBAP significantly improved left atrial dimensions, strain index, ejection index, left ventricular ejection index, and 6-min walking distance compared to RVOP. Consequently, the LBBAP procedure appears to enhance left atrial myocardial stress and ejection in pace-dependent patients over the 6 months, distinguishing it from traditional RVOP.

Educational and communication-based screen time were associated with lower odds of delays in selected developmental domains. The findings highlight the importance of limiting recreational screen exposure and encouraging age-appropriate, interactive digital activities.
