The real-world study evaluated long-term outcomes of bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) with endobronchial valves (EBVs) in advanced emphysema patients. With up to 2 years of follow-up, significant improvements were observed in lung function, exercise capacity, and quality of life, as measured by FEV1, 6MWD, and BODE index. The composite outcome showed an 86% response at 1 year and 71% at 2 years, suggesting maintained benefits for patients with remaining valves.
