This retrospective study compares the efficacy of three monoclonal antibodies (mepolizumab, benralizumab, and dupilumab) in treating severe asthma over 12 months. Analyzing data from 280 patients, improvements were observed in pulmonary function, asthma control, and oral corticosteroid use across all groups. Mepolizumab and benralizumab significantly reduced exacerbation rates, while mepolizumab and dupilumab decreased fractional exhaled nitric oxide levels. High responder rates were noted with no significant advantage for any antibody. The study underscores the effectiveness of these biologics in asthma treatment, suggesting early response assessment is valuable.
