This study aimed to assess the longevity of antibodies developed against the nucleocapsid protein in healthcare workers who had been exposed to SARS-CoV-2. A total of 648 participants were tested for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies at three different time points: baseline, eight weeks, and 16 weeks. Out of the participants, 17.2% had previously tested positive for COVID-19 by PCR. At baseline, 13.4% tested positive for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, including 2.6% who had never tested positive for COVID-19. However, by the end of the study, only 13.7% of those initially positive for IgG antibodies remained positive. The study concluded that natural immunity and the presence of antibodies vary among individuals, and the rate of positive IgG antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 decreases over time. Healthcare workers are particularly susceptible to exposure to the virus, even without displaying symptoms.

Age and systolic blood pressure remained key predictors of carotid atherosclerosis.

Among patients with CKD, DCB treatment resulted in a 2-year target lesion failure rate of 23.6%, compared with 30.0% with balloon angioplasty. The treatment effect was consistent across patients with and without CKD, suggesting that baseline renal function did not significantly influence DCB outcomes over 2 years.
