The study explores the complex relationship between complex PTSD, dissociative symptoms, and psychosis. In Sample 1 (214 Chinese-speaking adults), dissociation predicted psychotic symptoms at follow-up, while in Sample 2 (301 English-speaking adults), no significant relationship was found. Disturbances in self-organization predicted PTSD symptoms in both samples. The findings highlight the need for further research and emphasize addressing DSO symptoms in preventing and treating PTSD.
