This study aimed to describe the management of patients with epistaxis referred to the emergency department and assess factors associated with antithrombotic prescriptions after that. A total of 306 patients with a stable oral antithrombotic regimen before referral were included in the study. The results showed that half of the patients were hospitalized, and the antithrombotic prescription was unchanged in 72.8%, changed in 15.6%, and discontinued in 11.6%. Four independent predictors for antithrombotic prescription were identified, including hospitalization, age, hemoglobin level, and type of antithrombotic agent. The study highlights the impact of epistaxis on subsequent antithrombotic prescription
