This review aimd to enhance clinicians' understanding of the mental and psychiatric comorbidities associated with psoriasis, providing insight into the pathogenesis of psychological disorders in psoriasis patients. Psoriasis is an inflammatory disease characterized by abnormal skin cell growth and immune system activation. It not only increases the risk of cardiovascular, metabolic, and autoimmune-related diseases but also causes mental and psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders. These comorbidities impose a significant psychosocial burden on both individuals and society. The neuroendocrine-immune signaling network plays a role in the development and treatment of psoriasis.
