The study reveals that Chinese children with metabolically healthy obesity (MHO) exhibit higher odds of left ventricular geometric remodeling compared to metabolically healthy, normal-weight peers. MHO is associated with significant risks of concentric remodeling, eccentric hypertrophy, and concentric hypertrophy. The findings suggest that MHO may pose cardiac risks, challenging the perception of it being a benign condition.
