This narrative mini-review explores emerging biological roles of miR-371a-3p in testicular germ cell tumors beyond its established diagnostic value. It highlights evidence showing extracellular vesicle–mediated release, tumor microenvironment modulation, contribution to cisplatin resistance, relevance of murine miR-290∼295 models, and detection in maternal serum. Together, these findings position miR-371a-3p as a key regulator in tumor biology, therapy resistance, and feto-maternal communication.
