Movement Training Does Not Improve Surgical Knee Function Post-TKA

A movement training program (MOVE) did not improve surgical knee extension after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). In this trial, the MOVE group showed less contralateral knee compensation than the CONTROL group but did not improve surgical knee extension during walking. The CONTROL group had faster recovery in functional tests like the Timed Up and Go and 30-second Sit to Stand tests, though it remains unclear if this was due to better recovery or compensatory mechanisms.
