A 14-year-old boy from Mumbai's Kurla succumbed to complications from simultaneous infections of dengue, malaria, and leptospirosis. Initially, he sought treatment from a faith healer instead of a doctor, but on August 14, he was diagnosed with all three diseases at Kasturba Hospital. Despite efforts at Nair Hospital, including ventilation and attempts to control his symptoms, he passed away within three days. Such triple infections are exceedingly rare, and timely medical intervention could have saved him.
