This study examined the effectiveness of naltrexone/bupropion, a pharmacological treatment, for binge-eating disorder (BED) with and without obesity. While the medication did not significantly reduce binge-eating frequency or remission rates compared to a placebo, it led to more significant weight loss in patients with BED. Obesity status did not predict or impact medication outcomes.
