According to the network theory, this may arise from the interplay of symptoms shared by these two mental disorders. Therefore, we examined this underlying process by measuring the changes in the central and bridge symptoms of the co-occurrence networks across time.

Evidence indicates that ASC speck formation triggers caspase-1 activation, gasdermin D-mediated pyroptosis, and IL-1β/IL-18 signalling, creating self-amplifying inflammation and tissue breakdown. The model could refine diagnosis and help redefine the biological limits of vital pulp therapy.

Cyclosporine 0.09% and 0.1% ranked highest for corneal staining improvement, while tacrolimus showed early improvements in tear production and stability. Varenicline increased tear production but needs further comparative validation.
