A new 32-item scale was developed using the MOA framework to assess physical activity behavior in Chinese COPD patients. Involving 433 participants, the tool showed strong reliability (Cronbach’s α = 0.956; test-retest = 0.777) and a well-fitting four-factor model (motivation, opportunity, ability, behavior). This validated scale can support targeted interventions to improve physical activity in COPD management.

Varenicline increased tear production but needs further comparative validation.
