The study explored using Optomap ultra-widefield (UWF) images to estimate tumor thickness in choroidal melanocytic lesions (MCLs) without B-scan ultrasonography. 138 lesions were analyzed, showing that pixel intensity difference (PID) on green-channel Optomap images correlated significantly with ultrasonographic tumor thickness (R² = 0.823). As tumor thickness increased, PID also increased (P < .001).
