Across multiple datasets, this study evaluated nocturnal arrhythmia episodes, termed 'nocturnal arrhythmia avalanches' (NAA). The duration of these episodes followed a power-law distribution, and the power-law exponent (α) significantly predicted adverse cardiovascular events and mortality. Consistent findings across various studies indicate that the NAA power-law exponent is reliable for forecasting long-term cardiovascular risks and outcomes.
