New gene signature improves prostate cancer prognosis! A meta-analysis of PCa datasets identified 33 upregulated genes, primarily in epithelial cells. An 11-gene signature was developed using machine learning, outperforming clinical parameters in predicting biochemical recurrence-free survival. High-risk patients showed worse survival and immune alterations. Additionally, four genes showed potential as blood-based biomarkers, enabling noninvasive risk stratification. This novel tool enhances PCa prognosis beyond existing clinical and genomic models.
