A recent study assessed various methods for diagnosing and measuring the severity of pemphigus vulgaris (PV), a skin disorder, mainly focusing on oral parts. Two dermatologists evaluated 70 PV patients using different assessment tools. The results indicated high agreement between evaluators for all methods. Oral Disease Severity Score (ODSS) was found valid for assessing oral involvement in PV patients, closely related to other methods. Importantly, evaluations using PDAI and ODSS took about 1 minute, indicating their clinical feasibility. These findings highlight effective and efficient assessment methods for PV patients' oral involvement.
