Optimal Size for Intravaginal Contraceptive Rings: A Preference and Adherence Study

The 46mm intravaginal ring was preferred by most women and showed the highest adherence rates, although the 56mm ring was also well-accepted with fewer expulsions. The study suggests that the current 54-58mm range used in contraceptive rings is acceptable, with the 56mm ring offering the best balance of preference, adherence, and lower expulsion rates.
