Orbit-Preserving Ophthalmic Nerve Resection: A Cadaveric Feasibility Study

The cadaveric study evaluated 10 human orbits using endoscopic and exoscopic dissection to measure the resectable length of the frontal division of the ophthalmic nerve. The mean resection length was 40.9 mm from the supraorbital ridge, with no anatomical barriers to neurectomy. These findings support the technical viability of a clear-margin orbit-preserving approach in managing perineural spread.
