The study evaluated the effectiveness of the Multidisciplinary Single-day Cochlear Implant Selection (MSCS) protocol in maintaining or improving patient satisfaction during the cochlear implant selection process. Thirty-seven individuals underwent either the standard procedure or the MSCS protocol, with feedback from healthcare providers. Results showed comparable satisfaction levels between the MSCS pathway and the standard protocol, with most patients preferring the MSCS approach. Healthcare providers also expressed similar or increased satisfaction with the MSCS protocol, indicating its effectiveness in reducing appointment times without compromising satisfaction.
