The study aimed to determine head-and-neck cancer patients' preferences and willingness to complete commonly used quality of life (QoL) questionnaires in routine follow-up clinics. Women preferred FACT-HN, and younger patients preferred EORTC QLQ-HN35. However, only 55% of patients preferred routinely completing questionnaires at the clinic. Males and people over 70 years were the least willing to complete routine questionnaires and preferred shorter questionnaires. The study concludes that further elucidation is required for reluctance to complete questionnaires.
