
Pembrolizumab significantly improved disease-free survival in high-risk muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma following radical surgery. In a phase 3 trial involving 702 patients, pembrolizumab extended median disease-free survival to 29.6 months versus 14.2 months with observation (HR, 0.73; P=0.003). Severe adverse events occurred in 50.6% and 31.6% of patients, respectively.
