
The plasma uric acid to albumin ratio (UAR) is a novel indicator for inflammation, but its association with coronary slow flow phenomenon (CSFP) is unclear. The study included 1328 chronic coronary syndrome patients undergoing coronary angiography with less than 40% stenosis. Among them, 79 developed CSFP. Compared to controls, CSFP patients had higher uric acid and UAR, and lower plasma albumin. UAR increased with the number of vessels involved and was an independent predictor for CSFP. A UAR above 7.9 showed high sensitivity and specificity for predicting CSFP.
