Platelet aggregation in Klinefelter syndrome is not aggravated by testosterone replacement therapy: A longitudinal follow‐up study

Men with Klinefelter Syndrome (KS) are routinely offered testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), which is suggested to promote platelet aggregation and increase cardiovascular risk potentially. Forty‐one adult men with KS participated, of which 20 had no history of Platelet aggregation among men with KS at baseline or during TRT was not increased compared with the male reference population. The findings do not support an independent role of platelets in driving the cardiovascular risk in KS.
