A recent web-based survey sheds light on the experiences of 216 patients in Germany using cannabinoids as prescription medicine since partial legalization in 2017. Primarily sought when conventional treatments fall short, participants, mainly citing pain as their reason for therapy, reported increased satisfaction with overall medical treatment, improved well-being, and fewer issues across various health indicators. Despite limitations, the study suggests potential therapeutic benefits, particularly in managing chronic pain and challenging preconceptions about cannabinoid patients.
