Prevalence of falls among adult mothers in Saudi Arabia: a cross-sectional study

A study sheds light on the overlooked issue of falls among mothers (18–49 years old) in Saudi Arabia. The study involving 986 mothers revealed a 14.1% prevalence of falls in the past year. Shockingly, 52.5% of fallers experienced multiple incidents, with 25.4% encountering falls during pregnancy. Consequences included pain (37.4%), muscle injuries (7.2%), and fractures (2.2%).
