Prognostic Factors and Outcomes in Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma

The systematic review analyzed survival outcomes and prognostic factors in adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC). Based on 57 studies (17,497 patients), distant metastasis was the most common adverse outcome, occurring at an average of 34.8 months. Advanced T stage, lymph node involvement, and positive surgical margins were associated with poor survival. These findings highlight the need for tailored follow-up strategies for ACC patients.
