PNI is a key prognostic biomarker for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC), influencing overall survival (OS) and treatment efficacy. A study of 167 patients showed that those with PNI >49.98 had significantly better OS (36.6 months vs. 30.0 months, p<0.01). Enzalutamide improved OS in low PNI patients (p=0.004), while no significant difference was observed in high PNI patients (p=0.55), highlighting its role in treatment decision-making.
