This study assesses injectable composite materials' mechanical, wear, antibacterial, and biocompatibility properties. Four materials were tested, revealing material-dependent mechanical strength and wear resistance sensitive to water storage. Nanocomposites outperformed compomers, showing better biocompatibility and comparable antibacterial behavior. The study highlights the importance of understanding restorative material properties for clinical success, with implications for wider indications and improved long-term performance of highly filled injectable composite resins in dental restorations.
