Combining Septorhinoplasty (SRPL) and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) for nasal symptom relief improves patients' quality of life (QoL), according to a recent study. The study evaluated 267 patients, comparing those who underwent sole FESS, sole SRPL, and concurrent surgery. All groups showed significant postoperative QoL improvements, with slight differences favoring single surgeries. This study suggests that combining procedures doesn't compromise QoL gains, providing an option for patients seeking both nasal symptoms and cosmetic improvement.
