This study compared outcomes of neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy followed by surgery or radiotherapy in stage III non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Before matching, surgery showed superior progression-free survival (PFS) over radiotherapy. After propensity score matching, PFS was similar between groups, with radiotherapy offering comparable efficacy and manageable safety profiles. Subgroup analysis suggested stage IIIA patients may benefit more from surgery. Grade 3–4 treatment-related adverse events were slightly higher with radiotherapy. These findings propose radiotherapy as a potential alternative for NSCLC patients unsuitable for surgery post-chemoimmunotherapy, urging further prospective studies for validation and treatment optimization.

Current care emphasizes diagnosis, limited targeted testing, disease monitoring and stepwise treatment, beginning with second-generation H1-antihistamines and up-dosing when needed. Omalizumab and newer therapies such as dupilumab and remibrutinib expand options for refractory disease, while future care may be guided by biomarkers and disease endotypes.

A retrospective study of 33 women with postpartum hemorrhage during cesarean delivery found that uterine compression sutures achieved hemostasis in 69.7% of cases.
