A UK-based retrospective study of 1,498 pregnant women undergoing OGTT found that 26.7% had reactive hypoglycemia (RH). Compared to those with gestational diabetes, RH was linked to twice the risk of polyhydramnios but lower risks of neonatal hypoglycemia and preterm birth. Findings suggest RH may contribute to obstetric complications similar to diabetes.
