In a multicenter study evaluating adalimumab (ADA) treatment for Korean patients with intestinal Behcet's disease (BD), promising results emerged. Over a 52-week follow-up period, 83.5% of patients continued ADA treatment, indicating its tolerability. The DAIBD score showed consistent improvement (p < 0.001) and significant enhancements in erythrocyte sedimentation rate, serum C-reactive protein levels, and serum albumin levels were observed at 12, 24, and 52 weeks (all, p < 0.05). This real-world data suggests that ADA is an effective and safe option for managing refractory intestinal BD in Korean patients, offering hope for improved treatment outcomes in this population.
