A study examined the persistence and safety of tofacitinib (TOF) treatment in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients in real-world conditions. Seventy-two patients, predominantly refractory to previous therapies, were analyzed. The median drug survival was 13.0 months, with a one-year retention rate of 52.7%. Drug survival was not affected by demographic or disease-related factors but was higher in younger patients and those with enthesitis. The study suggests TOF's reasonable retention rate and safety profile in refractory PsA patients, particularly those with enthesitis.
