A study investigating the effects of switching to a new-generation PAP mask (AirFit F30i or N30i) via remote care found positive outcomes for obstructive sleep apnea patients. After fitting 215 participants through video conferencing, subjective feedback and device data were collected at multiple time points. The results showed improved comfort, seal, and usability with the new mask. Although there were slight increases in the apnea-hypopnea index, they were not clinically significant. Daily usage of PAP therapy increased by 0.2 hours at day 30, and FOSQ-10 scores improved at day 90, highlighting the potential of remote mask management to enhance therapy satisfaction and adherence.
