The study followed 31 RA patients over 10 years, combining interviews with disease activity (DAS28), grip force, pain (VAS), and activity limitations (HAQ, VLA-swe). Women reported more difficulties than quantitative data suggested, while men’s experiences aligned with measurements. Findings highlight persistent disability and the gap between subjective experiences and clinical measures, emphasizing the need for personalized, patient-centered rehabilitation.
