A retrospective study analyzed 659 ectopic pregnancies (EP) and 1460 deliveries. The study identified risk factors associated with EP. Variables such as age, parity, history of induced abortion, history of ectopic pregnancy, and BMI were significantly different between the two groups (P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis revealed that age > 35 years old, history of ectopic pregnancy, history of induced abortion, and low BMI (< 18.5 kg/m2) increased the risk of EP. The findings underscore the importance of considering these factors in EP prevention and management.
