Risk Factors & Nomogram for Postoperative Hypoalbuminemia in Ovarian Cancer Surgery

In a study of 142 ovarian cancer patients, 69 (48.6%) developed postoperative hypoalbuminemia. Independent risk factors included preoperative CRP, albumin levels, excessive fluid gain, weight loss >5%, and concomitant gastrointestinal surgery. A prediction nomogram was developed based on these factors, achieving an AUC of 0.898 (95% CI: 0.846–0.949), sensitivity of 82.6%, and specificity of 83.6%, offering effective risk prediction and management.
