N6‐methyladenosine (m6A) is a widespread regulator in both messenger RNAs and non‐coding RNAs. m6A can be reversibly methylated and unmethylated by “m6A writer” and “m6A eraser” proteins. The methylated RNA is recognized by m6A “readers” protein and then modulates cancer progression. Target m6A regulators have been becoming a promising approach for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
