RV Function and Quality of Life in Arrhythmia-Induced Cardiomyopathy

Arrhythmia-induced cardiomyopathy (AIC) worsens right ventricular (RV) function and quality of life (QoL). In a study of 50 patients, AIC patients showed improved RV function and QoL after rhythm restoration, while non-AIC patients did not. Regression analysis found low TAPSE as a predictive marker for AIC and poor QoL. This highlights the importance of echocardiographic evaluation of RV function in AIC patients.
