The study assessed the prognostic value of RV-PA coupling in Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) patients. In 80 patients, RV function was evaluated using RV-GLS, with coupling as the ratio of RV strain to pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PASP). In-hospital complications (IHC) occurred in 41% of patients. LVEF was an independent predictor of IHC, and RV-GLS/PASP provided additional prognostic value, identifying patients at higher risk of complications beyond LVEF alone.
